NOVEL METHOD FROM ETV – BOON FOR KANNADA FILMS DAYAL

Come December 16, 2014 release of ‘Haggada Kone’ is also setting another example not because the film of Dayal Padmanabhan is screened at Delhi International Film Festival in the same month but because of the novel method of TV right sale to ETV Kannada.

Mr Parameshwara Gundkal and his business head in ETV Kannada has shown a new way for quality films with a touch of class and known actor and director films.

Look at the proposition of ‘Haggada Kone’. The film after release in December middle will be screened in three months time in ETV Kannada. It is TV right for three times in ETV Kannada. The first and third screening generation of revenue from the advertisement is the complete share of the producer of ‘Haggada Kone’. The second time screening generation of revenue belongs to the channel house that is ETV Kannada.

According to Dayal Padmanabhan estimate the revenue generation for ‘Haggada Kone’ from two screenings from ETV is Rs.30 lakhs. That is a good bargain and good support for quality film makers. Is the same is extended to offbeat and art film makers? We have to wait and see what the ‘Think Tank’ of Mr Parameshwara Gundkal is up to.

The lazybones and senseless film makers can get up now and study the situation. The need of the hour is quality.

Jai for ETV Kannada! In the month of Rajyotsava such a clever approach is appreciable.
